My brands

A range of prototypes in 1:76 (4mm/ft) scale from feldbahn diesels to sugar plantation locomotives that share a common trait, to have been designed and manufactured within Europe. Established in 2014, to take advantage of using 9mm track to represent 600mm gauge, EuroNG now includes a growing range of steam and diesel locomotives as well as some custom components. The kits feature 3D printed skeletons with etched nickel silver overlays to provide detail and designed for easy assembly with just superglue.

In 2017 I was proud to launch the first commercially available models in a new scale - 006.5, these are 1:76 (4mm/ft) models running on 6.5mm gauge track, representing 18" gauge prototypes. My multimedia kits featured etched and cast metal and 3D printed parts and are designed by us here in the UK, to utilise mechanisms manufactured by Busch in Germany. My locomotive kits came with the option to include the correct mechanism, the rolling stock kits came with wheels and couplings. This range is now discontinued.

As a model maker with over 35 years experience I'm happy to offer my unique combination of skills in scratch and kit building locomotives and rolling stock, painting and weathering, construction of scenic buildings and structures through to complete layouts. In addition a number of my own projects have yielded components now available through Light Railway Stores.

Planet Industrials is James Hilton and Stephen Fulljames. We founded the business in 2019 after working together as modellers and friends for almost 10 years. We’re both active modellers, with layouts and interests in a range of scales and gauges - the common theme being down at heel and of an industrial nature. We love industrial railways, they are in our blood. We produce models that get us excited, of prototypes we find interesting, products beyond rolling stock, items that allow you to model the wider industrial scene.
